Scuba Diving

We acquired the PADI International Open Water Certification. Meaning that we are certified scuba divers. This is the absolutely best experience you can have. We liked it so much we are going to keep taking courses and hopefully dive all over the place. If you have though about doing it, don't wait any longer go ahead we guarantee that you won't regret it. We are posting a link to Pro-Divers. This is the place that we got certified with and they will help you arranging any scuba diving trips to Costa Rica or other places. Trust us they are the best in Costa Rica plus excellent instructors and divers.

The 1st time we went diving we saw Ray's we swam with pilot whales, saw scorpion fishes and a bunch of others we don't know the name of. We saved a "perico" fish from a fishing net. We dived to a max. depth of 65 feet in "Ocotal" beach. As soon as we get more scuba diving stories we will keep you informed. We will keep a copy of our Log Book so you can keep track of our progress. We will also try to get some pics from our scuba diving trips and post them on our picture section. If you also dive, we will love to hear from you, we might even dive together someday.

We went to the Providencia  - San Andres diving trip (OK, it was a long time ago, but it was still amazing and since we haven't being able to go diving recently, this is the best so far). IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! If you ever have the opportunity to go to Providencia go for it. It doesn't even have to be for diving. It is a very small island but there are so many things to do and the food is excellent. Our recommendations go to "Donde Martin" and "VIP" great restaurants and great people. All the island is friendly, honest, relax. Regarding diving, the water is absolutely incredible. I will try to post some pics here soon. You can see the bottom perfectly and I mean perfectly 80 ft above. Lot's of sea life, white sand just the best place to dive we have being to so far. San Andres is also great for diving, specially a place call "La Piramide" There the fish are so use to the divers, they will eat from your hand and follow you around. We did have  BIG waves on our 1st dive in San Andres in a place called "Tramo Tortuga" , and I mean BIG WAVES!!! But once under, it was incredible. Again we recommend going to this islands, you will not regret it. Well if you want to know more about our trip, send us an email and we will be happy to tell you more!!!!
